Barbecue
Short Cut Barbecue (@shortcutbbq) is the alias under which I share my pursuit of honest, live-fire central Texas barbecue in a Chicagoland backyard. The name is a joke. As any friend or family member would be quick to tell you, no corners will ever be cut in any work I do.
It is the tireless work involved that attracts me to this style of cooking, but also the potential to share this passion with family and friends. Branding my barbecue efforts has also been a great exercise in photography and design.
Fun fact: The firebox of a wood burning offset smoker can double as a pizza oven.
